Spend one minute with Phylis Cherono Siele, a nurse who works in the comprehensive care unit at Tenwek Mission Hospital in Kenya.

Phylis's happiest day at work, she says, was when she helped a distraught client who had come in for HIV testing.

Fortunately, she was able to give him some good news.

That was something that gave me a lot of joy.

Phylis was one of the first health workers to participate in a training on antiretroviral therapy that was provided by IntraHealth’s FUNZOKenya Project. At Tenwek, Kenyan nurses are learning from the best.
