Todd Wohler Joins IntraHealth International Board of Directors

June 27, 2013, Chapel Hill, NCIntraHealth International welcomes Todd Wohler, MBA, as the newest member of its board of directors. A human resources executive with over 20 years of experience in the field of international recruiting and personnel management, Wohler brings a deep understanding of the challenges and issues involved in attracting, retaining, developing, and supporting a global workforce.

“I’m very pleased to welcome Todd Wohler to IntraHealth’s board of directors,” says IntraHealth CEO Pape Gaye. “His experience and knowledge of human resources, executive leadership, and global business in diverse and multicultural organizations will be invaluable as we accelerate progress toward the Millennium Development Goals and beyond. I am looking forward to working closely with him and our directors to achieve IntraHealth’s mission.”

Wohler has dedicated his career to creating high-performing workforces through collaboration and respect, helping organizations to grow and to become more effective through personnel engagement.

After earning a degree in mechanical engineering from Virginia Tech, Wohler began his career at Schlumberger, a global oil and gas technology company, where he worked in many different branches of the company in the US, Paris, and London. He found the field of human resources to be the most challenging, exciting, and fulfilling. Wohler has also served as chief human resources officer at Quintiles Transnational, as senior vice president of human resources at ARAMARK, and as senior vice president of human resources at United Water.

Over the course of his career, Wohler has combined business intelligence and human resource services to lead full-service functions in over 100 countries. He has also developed and implemented global HR strategies for organizations across multiple industries and recruited hundreds of executives and leaders.

“Recruiting and retention are real challenges, especially at the senior level of organizations,” Wohler says. “I’m very much looking forward to working with IntraHealth on the global and international aspects of these issues in the field of global health.”

Wohler earned his master’s degree from Tulane University and his bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech.
