June 5, 2012, Chapel Hill, NC—Musimbi Kanyoro, MA, PhD, DMin, has joined the IntraHealth International Board of Directors. Kanyoro is president and CEO of the Global Fund for Women, a publicly supported grantmaking foundation that invests in women-led organizations to advance human rights. A native of Kenya, Kanyoro has become an influential advocate for women and girls worldwide over the last 30 years.

A social media training conducted by the IntraHealth-led project, Strengthening Civil Society for Family Planning in West Africa, was featured in the French language news website Fraternite.
