CapacityPlus (2009-2015) developed a comprehensive set of tools and approaches and assisted 27 countries in strengthening their health workforce. This toolkit presents tools and resources, results, lessons learned and recommendations in the project's seven focus areas: health professional education, HR management and leadership, health workforce data use, retention and productivity, professionalizing under-recognized cadres of health workers, monitoring and evaluation, and gender equality.
