Dr. Meenakshi Jain was IntraHealth’s country representative in India. She is a health and development specialist with more than 15 years of experience in program design, management, and monitoring and evaluation.

Prior to joining IntraHealth, Jain served as state director and deputy chief of party for  the Urban Health Initiative—a $40 million grant funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation—where she was responsible for project implementation, performance management, liaising with the government, and coordinating partners. She also has experience leading the monitoring and evaluation of maternal and child projects.

Jain holds a MD in community medicine from Lady Hardinge Medical College and a postgraduate diploma in hospital and health management from Indira Gandhi National Open University.
