IntraHealth International joins the Frontline Health Workers Coalition, the Global Health Workforce Alliance, and other partners to honor health workers April 3-9 during the fourth annual World Health Worker Week.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C., March 29, 2016--On April 21 and 22 in Saxapahaw, North Carolina, development experts, entrepreneurs, academics, artists and innovators will gather to report on pioneering global projects that improve lives around the world, and to cultivate partnerships to further social good.  

As an organization committed to improving health equity, IntraHealth International denounces the North Carolina General Assembly's recent passage of House Bill 2, legislation that would ban local governments in the state from passing local anti-discrimination ordinances.

On April 21 and 22 in Saxapahaw, North Carolina, development experts, entrepreneurs, academics, artists and innovators will gather to report on pioneering global projects that improve lives around the world, and to cultivate partnerships to further social good.  

More than 20 higher education institutions across Central America have integrated a new HIV curriculum into their nursing, medical, or other health professional training programs thanks to IntraHealth International’s work on the USAID-funded Central America Capacity Project.

In December, a year-long initiative between IntraHealth International and Pfizer culminated as Pfizer’s 2015 Executive Global Health Team Project came to a close.
