From 2001 to 2011, IntraHealth worked to support Armenia’s leaders in drafting and implementing better family planning and child health care policies, increasing the use of appropriate and safe reproductive health and maternal and child health services, and helping hospitals and clinics manage and supervise employees. IntraHealth collaborated with the Ministry of Health and local partners to strengthen clinical training, curriculum development, human resources management, policy support, and evaluation for health workers. We also assisted Armenia in its effort to decentralize health care services and strengthen family medicine.
