IntraHealth International is joining our colleagues from around the world at the 74th World Health Assembly. As an organization in official relations with the World Health Organization (WHO), we'll be there advocating for the health workforce and highlighting their role in ending this pandemic—and preventing the next.
Read our statement on the health workforce.
WHO's #ApplauseIsNotEnough rallying cry has brought the world’s attention to the fact that we have a moral and practical obligation to care for health and care workers who continue to make personal sacrifices to deliver the best care they can, often in challenging environments.
To support the WHO’s efforts, IntraHealth is joining other Act for Health Workers campaign partners—Seed Global Health, Frontline Health Workers Coalition (FHWC), the G4 Alliance, and Smile Train—to host a Week of Action on social media, May 24 to June 1, 2021. This week-long effort builds on the FHWC’s Policy Recommendations for Sustainable Health Workforce Teams and highlights urgent actions world leaders, governments, policymakers, funders, and civil society must take to support the health of health and care workers.
Join the conversation and raise your voice for health and care workers. #ActForHealthWorkers
