Healthcare Information for All (HIFA)

Join Healthcare Information for All (HIFA) for a facilitated discussion, Empowering Health Workers for Better Family Planning, in collaboration with The Knowledge for Health (K4Health) Project.

The discussion begins on Monday, March 26, 2018 and will run for four weeks. This is the second of three planned discussion forums on family planning as part of the HIFA project on Family Planning. Building upon themes from the first forum held September 2017, this lively exchange will include identifying and discussing the needs, challenges, new strategies and opportunities to help health workers improve family planning service provision. We will also highlight many useful resources, including the 2018 updated Global Family Planning Handbook.

The exchange will be held via HIFA's email forum (that includes more than 10,000 health workers, program managers, researchers, and policymakers worldwide). It will be supported by experts in family planning at the World Health Organization (WHO), University of Oxford, the Guttmacher Institute, IntraHealth International, The Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs, and USAID. Further information about the discussion can also be found here.
