Frontline Health Workers Coalition, JSI Research and Training Institute, Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, and IntraHealth International will host a reception on Capitol Hill to celebrate World Health Worker Week.
As a culmination to the Frontline Health Workers Coalition’s activities for World Health Worker Week, the reception will honor the contributions of frontline health workers and the essential nature of their work to achieve progress on US global health priorities, ensure global health security, and build resilient health systems. Additionally, the reception will highlight the need for robust investment in the global health workforce, how this investment will bolster women’s economic empowerment, and the importance of skilled health teams in every community to deliver essential health services.
