Dai Hozumi has joined IntraHealth International’s executive team as chief technical officer and leader of IntraHealth’s Center for Technical Excellence.
In this new role, Hozumi will provide visionary leadership to shape, guide, and implement IntraHealth's technical agenda. He will also focus on driving new business and ensuring the quality of our technical products and services as IntraHealth forges new paths within a rapidly evolving global health and development landscape.
Hozumi has over 20 years of experience in strategy development and execution, including extensive experience managing complex, multicountry health systems projects. He has worked in more than 20 countries, including Bangladesh, India, Kenya, Malawi, Mexico, Pakistan, South Africa, Ghana, Lao PDR, and Zambia. A former Takemi Research Fellow in International Health at the Harvard School of Public Health, Hozumi holds an MD from Juntendo University in Tokyo, Japan.
IntraHealth’s Center for Technical Excellence incorporates and liaises with experts from throughout the organization in digital health, family planning, gender, health systems and policy, and knowledge management. Together, Hozumi and his team will advance IntraHealth's core capabilities in health systems, health services, and social and crosscutting focus areas, contributing to technical advancements in global health and development and to progress toward universal health coverage.
