Scott Sherman Joins IntraHealth as Its New Vice President of Human Resources

Scott Sherman has joined IntraHealth International in the new position of vice president of human resources. Sherman brings more than 20 years of experience in human resources management and leadership development in both the public and private sectors.

Sherman is charged with developing a robust global human resources function focused on aligning and developing IntraHealth’s worldwide staff to meet the rapidly changing needs of the global health field.

Elevating the position of IntraHealth’s human resources leadership is a strategic step in the implementation of the organization’s LEAD Strategy. At the heart of the strategy is a commitment to expanding investments in country-based leaders and technical excellence. Sherman will guide the transformation of the organization’s human resources function to strategically focus on the current and future recruitment, development and talent management needs of our offices and programs worldwide.

Sherman most recently held the position of vice president of learning and development at a clinical research organization, PRA International. Before that, he was the director of global human resources at Family Health International (now FHI 360). Sherman holds a doctorate degree in adult education and educational gerontology from North Carolina State University and a master of arts degree in counseling from Eastern Michigan University.
