The Manthan Project provided technical assistance (TA) to the Government of Uttar Pradesh to identify challenges affecting the public-private partnership schemes aimed at increasing poor women's access to deliveries in private hospitals and nursing homes, and to develop recommendations for strengthening their implementation. This technical brief outlines the TA process and examines the recommendations.
