Where We Work

We at IntraHealth International believe that all people deserve access to the best health care possible.
We believe that access to modern contraception and reproductive health services is the foundation for gender equality the world over.
And we believe that supporting health workers who provide family planning services is among the most effective ways to save women’s and children’s lives—and reduce poverty.
As an organization committed to strengthening access to health care, we’re concerned about what’s in store for global health, especially family planning services. For more than 35 years, we’ve implemented and invested in programs to increase access to comprehensive reproductive health care. And our efforts have yielded impressive results.
As an organization committed to strengthening access to health care, we’re concerned about what’s in store for global health, especially family planning services.
We’ve seen decreases in maternal mortality, stillbirths, and infant deaths. We’ve seen an increase in the number of women receiving fistula repair surgeries in Mali and Ethiopia. We’ve seen an increase in the number of women being tested for HIV and a corresponding decrease in the number of mother-to-child HIV transmissions.
But results like these require support and funding. Without them, we have no hope of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, of ending extreme poverty, of gaining prosperity for all.
The advances we’ve made in reproductive health care, as well as in maternal and child health, now hang on a precipice.
Now more than ever we need your support. Your donation to IntraHealth will go directly to supporting dedicated health workers who know firsthand the importance of access, education, and safety, those who work tirelessly on the front lines of crises, outbreaks, and disasters to ensure that people in the most desperate need of care receive it.
IntraHealth believes in a world where everyone everywhere has the care they need to thrive. Help us make this a reality. Donate now.
