Roman Yorick is the former chief of party of the Tajikistan Health and Nutrition Activity for IntraHealth International. He has more than 15 years of experience designing and implementing public health development programs across a wide range of technical areas, including maternal and child health; gender-based violence; and HIV prevention, care, and treatment. He brings expertise managing multi-donor capacity development and service delivery projects.

Prior to joining IntraHealth, Roman was the results and measurement technical advisor and deputy chief of party with Pact, Inc. in Kiev, Ukraine, where he worked on the five-year USAID RESPOND project dedicated to improving the continuum of HIV care. He has also worked as an independent HIV technical advisor, the chief operating officer for a network of private outpatient clinics in Moscow, Russia, and as regional director for HealthRight International’s Regional Office for Russia and Newly Independent States.

Roman holds an MPH from the University of California at Berkeley and an MD from Russian State Medical University. He has published numerous scholastic and technical articles and speaks Russian, English, and Ukrainian.
