Kenya’s Ministry of Health, regulatory boards, and councils that register and license health workers operate independent systems for various management functions. Yet all these systems target a single health worker in different ways. This policy briefs presents a case and the value for systems interoperability to optimize data for decision making and efficiency in health workforce management.
